2020 Creative Campaign
Talented artists, illustrators and designers! Could you design the next brochure for The Warren?
We are now accepting entrants for our 2020 Creative Campaign.
We are looking for an initial concept for The Warren 2020 brochure cover. The initial design will then be carried forward with us to create the final artwork. The brochure will be printed in A5.
We’re open to any creative interpretations of what The Warren represents. The design does not necessarily need to be a pictorial representation of what we do but should be bold, colourful and convey the spirit of The Warren site. It should incorporate a depiction of The Warren’s iconic entrance archway, and it will also need to include the dates 30 April - 31 May. You may also want to consider that 2020 will be our 15th anniversary!
Elements of the design will be lifted as individual assets for marketing purposes, so make sure your illustration is compatible with this need when you are creating it. The assets could be used for:
staff uniforms and passes
posters and flyers
discount cards and drinks tokens
social media and e-newsletters
adverts in publications and on the web
brochure bin stickers
stationery and merchandise
headed paper and till receipts

The artist will receive a payment of £800 for their design, as well as a 1/4 page advert in the brochure (worth £500) and a credit on our Partners page.
The fee also covers the design of two adverts to go inside the brochure using elements of the cover design, and also the brochure bins in which it will be stacked around Brighton and surrounding areas. Specification and briefs for these will be discussed once the cover design has been finalised with us.
The artwork will be predominantly used for our 2020 festival campaign and any aspects related to our 2020 operations. We will work on an Exclusive Usage License and retain the right to use the artwork for future campaigns. The artist retains full copyright of the artwork.

We are aiming for completion of the final artwork by Sunday 24 November 2019. There may also be some smaller ad-hoc design tasks in the lead up to the festival.
