The festival site of The Warren is home to six exciting performance spaces during Brighton Fringe, all varying in size, capacity and use.
Putting on your own event? Our venues are also available to hire. See Otherplace Infrastructure for details.
The centrepiece of The Warren site is The Hat, a 250-seat theatre tent in the shape of a bowler hat, perfect for mid to large scale shows.
Our family-friendly showcase Pick of the Fringe takes place every weekend of The Warren, including the incredibly popular Brighton Fringe Launch Night Special.
The Blockhouse is a large, flexible performance space that is great for theatre to raucous comedy and anything in between. The venue can seat 115 in thrust.
The Late Show, our own-programmed mixed bill of comedy, cabaret and a whole host of other shenanigans, takes place in The Blockhouse.
The Theatre Box is a bespoke 70-seat black box end-on venue, ideal for theatre with minimal set, music, and particularly solo or sketch comedy.
The Burrow is a 50-seater black box venue, ideal for stand-up, sketch comedy and small-scale theatre.
The Nest is also a 50-seat black box venue, ideal for stand-up, sketch comedy and small-scale theatre.
The Bunker is 20-seat black box venue, perfect for intimate performances, new shows and film screenings.
Our dedicated family area, The Den, is open every day of the festival, 9am-6pm
Every morning of The Warren at 9.30am, children come to Story Corner to be read to by one of our amazing acts or special guests.
New to The Warren in 2019, The Scrapyard is an indoor multi-venue in itself, to which are attached some of the above venues. It’s home to our Craft Bar, too.
Here you will also find our ever-popular Silent Disco.
